Girl Scout Dana Ratcliffe's
Gold Star Project (2012)
A memorial garden, planned by Dana, with the idea
that it would be in memory of her grandfather
Sgt. Robert S. Ratcliffe, 97th Division, 387th Infantry
Regiment, was proposed to the House Committee and
approved in April. Dana then raised money in the
community and began constructing the garden, with
help from her family. The project was completed in
August. Below are photos of the garden and presentations
to Dana and her family from the Auxiliary and Legion.
