LEGIONNAIRE MEETING

03DECEMBER2011

Meeting was called to order at 1903 hours by 1st Vice Commander Roy Havekost in the stead of CDR Robby Bacom.

There was a quorum of 15 members present and one guest, SAL CDR, Jeff Ward.

Chaplain Nagel gave opening prayer.

Guest speaker, SAL CDR, Jeff Ward, spoke about the progress of and for continued funding for, the Outdoor Pavilion.

Patty O'Callahan read minutes from the NOV Executive Committee Meeting, Motion by Dan Wortmann to accept minutes as read, motion seconded by Wilbur Burnett, minutes accepted.

Patty O'Callahan read minutes from the DEC General Meeting, Motion by Sonny Kirkwood, seconded by Dan Wortmann, minutes accepted as read.

New Member, Henry, III, was voted on, motion made by Stu Lilly, seconded by Mark Dorsey, new member accepted.

1st Vice Commander Read his report, attached and discussed his efforts to select a local Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award. He also gave his web site report, motion to accept by Patty O'Callahan, seconded by Wilbur Burnett, reports accepted as read.

Financial Report presented by Finance Officer, Malcolm Marvin, motion to accept report made by Patty O'Callahan, Dan Wortmann seconded the motion, report accepted.

Motion made by Patty O'Callahan to donate $250.00 to the Special Needs School at Alden Road, motion seconded by Dan Wortmann, motion passed.

Steve Sheffield made a motion for a donation of $1,000 to the Pavilion Fund, Rod Garing seconded the motion, motion passed.

Chaplain Nagel gave closing prayer.

The meeting was adjourned at 1951 hours.
