Meeting called
to order at 1902 hrs by Commander Steve Willis.
Opening
invocation by Chaplain Bob Nagel.
A quorum was
present with 12 members attending the meeting.
Adjutant Clen
Ward read the minutes of the membership meeting
held on 7 April 2011. There were no correction
or additions, motion to accept by Jim Ross,
seconded by Don Mills and the motion carried.
Minutes from the
5 March 2011 Executive Board were read and
approved without additions or corrections.
Motion to accept by Don Mills seconded by Morris
Busbia and the motion passed.
Adjutants report
made by Clen Ward, no additions or corrections,
motion to accept made by Maury Lazenby seconded
by Jim Durnal and the motion carried.
Commander's
Report:
Commander Steve Willis brought us up to date on
the cell tower, no check has been received as of
this date, Cmdr Willis to follow up and report
at the next meeting. Motion to accept the
commanders report by Jim Durnal and seconded by
Don Mills, the motion passed.

Vice Report: 1st Vice, Roy
Havekost announced that due to conflicts with
his job, he will be unable to accept any Post
Officers position but will continue to maintain
the web site Legionnaire Havekost then reviewed
the Post web site report, copy to be attached.

House Committee
Report:
Chairman Jim Ross read the minutes of the house
committee's meeting, copy attached, and related
the successes of our April events.
Copy to be
attached, motion to accept report made by Rick
Kapeghian, seconded by Don Mills and the motion
carried
Service Officer:
Boys State program is all set. Motion to accept
by Jim Durnal, seconded by Jim Ross and the
motion carried
Old Business: No
Old Business.
At this point,
application for membership for Jim Sabo was
discussed and a motion to accept made by Don
Mills, seconded by Roy Havekost and the motion
carried, Transfer applications for Russell
Rhodes, Ryan Rhodes and Randy Rhodes from Post
129 were brought up and considered. Motion to
accept as new members made by Morris Busbia and
seconded by Don Mills and the motion passed.
Transfer application from Bob Schroeter was
considered next. Don Mills noted that this
transfer had been brought up before and that the
membership had voted to bar Bob Schroeter for
even applying for membership forever. 1st
Vice Roy Havekost made a motion to table the
application until a later date, but the
Commander stated that it was not legal to bar
application forever and asked for a motion to
approve acceptance of the transfer. Motion by
Chuck Kees and seconded by Jim Ross and the
motion carried. (It was later determined after
the commander contacted the Department Judge
Advocate, that a motion to repeal the prior
motion to prevent application must first be
repealed before a new application for transfer
can be considered, so the motion to accept Bob
Schroeter is null and void.)

business came up and the meeting was adjourned
after a prayer by the chaplain 2000 hours.
