GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
06OCTOBER2011
Meeting
was called to order at 1920 hours by 1st
Vice Commander Roy Havekost, in the absence of
CDR Robby Bacom.
Opening moment of silence, in the absence of
Chaplain Bob Nagel.
A quorum of 10 members present.
Adjutant Patty O’Callahan read the Executive
Committee Minutes of OCT and the General Meeting
Minutes of SEP. Motion was made by Don Mills to
accept the minutes as read, Fred Harllee
seconded, minutes accepted.
Adjutant reported that we are now at 72% of our
Membership goal.
Adjutant read in new & transfer members:
Mitzel, Charles: Stu Lily/Don Mills
McGee, Mark: Roy Havekost/Don Mill
D’Angelo, Frank: Don Mills/Fred Harlee
Butler, Edward: Don Mills/Stu Lily

All accepted & voted into the Post.
Arnold Dieter discussed revamping the parking
lot. Stu Lily made a motion that we look at
repairing it, Don Mills seconded, motion passed.
Stu Lily reported that the men’s restroom urinal
is in desperate need of repair-has been out for
2 weeks. We will talk to Eddie the Plumber.
Roy
Havekost gave 1 st
Vice Commander Report, and is
attached.
He also reported that Dr. Wm. Bosworth, a PUFL
donated $100 to the Post. Roy wants to award a
Law Enforcement Officer of the Year with a State
Award; Dan Wortmann the same for a Fire Fighter
of the year. They will keep us updated on their
progress. Roy is still working with the Eagle
Scouts
and the Refurbishing of our flag Pole. Don Mills
made a motion that we accept this report, Wilbur
Burnett seconded, reported accepted.
No 2 nd,
3rd or 4th Vice Commander Reports.
Finance Report was reviewed, defer questions,
due to absence of Malcolm Anthony.
Patty O’ reported on the status of the Outdoor
Pavilion Committee, Don Mills made a motion to
accept her report, Stu Lily seconded, reported
accepted.
Don Mills stated that we really need more
participation at the meetings!
We discussed donating at least 250 golf balls to
the Golf Balls for Servicemen Drive via Julien
Gill, Stu Lilly made a motion for us to do so,
Roy Havekost seconded, motion passed.
House Committee report made by Don Mills, motion
to accept report made by Roy Havekost, seconded
by Wilbur Burnett, report accepted.
Meeting adjourned at 1959 hours.
