During the month of July I received four requests for transfer to Post 233. Transfer forms were mailed out to Eugene Quinn, Fredrick Miller, S.J. Smith and Daniel Hoffman.

Under the Project Stay Active Program, 5 letters were mailed out to Dan Armstrong, Michael Adams, Richard Hirsch, Jake Adamsky and Fred Peting. Robert Eisenberg from Rochester NY had previously transferred in under the program.

 I recently met with a couple of  business owners in the Julington Creek area of St. Johns County. They have agreed to allow me to set up a table in front of their business’ in an attempt to secure new members for our Post. I plan on starting this project in late August.

If this venture proves successful, I plan to expand the project to other areas of the county that are not served by a physical American Legion Post.
