Clen Ward called the meeting to order at
7:04 PM
A quorum of 16 Members and Officers was
present.
Jim Ross read the minutes of the December
3, 2009 Meeting. Rick Kapeghian motioned to accept the minutes as
read and Dick Salzarullo seconded and they were approved by
majority.
ADJUTANTS REPORT — Jim Ross read in 4 new
members ( Richard Hauser, Will Spence, George Young and William
Clark). 305 Member Cards have been processed for a 75.9 % of our YTD
Goal. The Bank Balance was $3,793 on Jan. 3, 2010.Dick S. motioned
to approve the new members and the report, Pete Mischler seconded
and it was passed by majority.
1st VICE REPORT — No Report
3rd VICE REPORT- Roy Havekost
the Commander's Website Pool Table survey netted 36 votes to keep
the table and 9 against between Dec. 3rd and Jan. 7th
. Website- Roy volunteered 18 hours in December and web activity
included 893 visitors , viewing 2,897 pages. The 3 most viewed pages
were the Bulletins, Special Events and the Dec. Newsletter. The Top
Slideshow viewed was the WWII Veterans Dinner. No Website
advertising money was collected in Dec. An online store with various
items such as hats and shirts etc with Post 233 logos is I in place
with proceeds to our Post. During the past 12 months, 8,593 visitors
accessed our website viewing 24,031 pages. Steve Willis motioned to
accept the 3rd Vice report, Pete Seconded and it passed
by majority.
HOUSE COMMITTEE — Steve Willis reported a
private birthday party was approved, Valentines Day Dinner and the
Canteen my now remain open until 2 AM per St. Johns County.
Bartender will now hold the pool balls and charge 50 cents. The
Auxiliary will donate $200 for lights. The Wagon Wheel lights will
be replaced with trac lights. There will also be a box installed so
the Sheriff has access to the key to the Post for emergencies. Patty
O’Callahan motioned to accept the House report, Rick K. seconded and
it passed by majority.
NEW BUSINESS - Steve Hutchinson has been
approved as Finance Officer by the EBoard. This Friday Steak night
proceeds to benefit Chef Mike, who has been ill and out of work. The
food cost will be handled by the SAL.
